I got my second daughter. Her name is Sister Lydia Oswald and she is from South Jordan Utah. Oh my heck she is so cute and such a tender mercy right now.
We taught our friend, Rojo, about the restoration and this man has had some amazing insight. He said it made sense!! Yay!! It was a pretty awesome moment.
I had such a good study in 2 Nephi. I normally don't understand anything because it's Isaiah. This week was different. I had a lot of time to think about the importance of the temple and the covenants that I have made in my life. Promises with God are binding. How amazing is that?? God really wants to be bound to us.
Some moments from the week:
-We got cussed out a couple times...haha that was an adventure.
-We buried a member's cat :( It was so sad.
-We had a birthday lunch with some members.
-Went on exchanges in Cibola and they could use the prayers.
-Got told we were bad%#$ for being different missionaries than the ones this guy had talked to previously. lol
-Our friend Mary Margaret dropped us because she didn't want to read the Book of Mormon. :(
-I had a lot of moments to laugh this week and it felt good. I haven't laughed this hard in a while.
Our friend, James, has really been struggling, and it was because we weren't reading the Book of Mormon with him. We took a break and talked about the Articles of Faith and the Living Christ. Its amazing getting to see the difference the Book of Mormon can make in his life. And in my life, too.
The subject line came from Sis Oswald. She said it while we were talking about internet safety
