This week has felt super fast but super slow at the same time...if that's even possible. It is for missionaries
We get transfer news this week jkjk. I'm pretty sure I'm going to die here in High Range
-》 before anyone freaks out, dying in mission lingo means we are not getting transferred again. We are going to stay in this area until we go home
We met with our new friend Marlon this week. Talk about interesting. The lesson was going great and we were going to share a scripture from the Book of Mormon (naturally bc it is the best book EVER!) Marlon was quoting scriptures and didn't even realize (see 2 Nephi 29:3). He didn't really want to listen to what we were saying, but we are meeting again this week. We are going to discuss Revelation 22:18-19
Because of our meeting with Marlon, I have been studying Deuteronomy 4:2; 12:32 and Revelation 22:18-19. My mind is blown. I have learned so much. If anyone has any doubts about these scriptures, please read "My Words...Never Cease" by Jeffrey R. Holland. It is such an amazing talk and has solidified my testimony of the restoration of Christ's church.
We had 2 of our friends come to sacrament. Not with us because they went to the wrong building, but hey they went!!! That is huge for them!!
We almost had our friend Amanda at church, but Satan is the worst. He has been working so hard on her. Please keep her in your prayers.
We got to meet our new mission president and his wife in person this week. They are sooo cute!! They asked some amazing questions and I can tell they are going to do wonders for this mission.
God's church is truly amazing and so true. I have come to see that for the past 15 months of my mission. Keep reading the scriptures because that is where you will find truth. Remember God wants to hear from you. Stay on the covenant path.
Reverence brings revelation. This has become my favorite phrase on my mission. Why? A specific talk I read about half way through my mission, talked about not forcing revelation. The key is to take time to be reverent and hear Him. Take sometime this week to be still (Psalms 46:10).
Remember God loves you
I love you I love you I love you
This is the way
Love Sister Amanda Moser
